I haven't written on my blog in forever so I think its a good time to start up again. This summer has been amazing!! I started out with going to Girls Camp the week after school was out. It was my fourth year trip and we went to Deep Creek Lake. Everyone's fourth year trip is normally hard but super fun. My fourth year trip was like a vacation.
We went tubing, played in the lake, went on the water trampoline, and just hung out. It was so fun! The week after Girls Camp I started a camp for little kids called Camp Creative. I did it from Monday - Thursday of that week. There were 11 kids and it was crazy but fun. Late Thursday night Alicia came in town so she could come with us to New York! Then early Friday morning we left for New York City for a trip for Emilee's 18th Birthday. The first day we went to Canal Street and Brooklyn. We spent lots of money and got amazing pizza and ice cream. The next morning we went bike riding in Central Park which was something different than we had ever done but was fun! 
We got to see more of the park in a shorter amount of time. The rest of that day we went walked around New York and did some more shopping. The next day was Sunday and the fourth of July and we went to church that morning and then drove home. Later that night once we got home, we went to watch the fireworks. Then the next week from July 5th-July 11th, Alicia was home and we just hung out and did stuff with her. It was really fun having her home! Then on Monday July 12th I left for EFY. A few people from our ward drove down together since we were all going to the same week. Once we got there Havalah and I were off by ourselves since all of the boys that we had driven down with had to go find were they were staying. 
When we got to our rooms we realized that we were only two doors down and in the same company without planning it! It was crazy! So we were both excited to meet the rest of the girls in our company and the boys. Once we met everyone, we all became good friends and had so much fun together! EFY was so much fun and I miss it so much! After I got back from EFY I had another week of Camp Creative which wasn't as crazy since there were fewer kids. Then on Saturday my family headed off on an 8 hour car ride to Myrtle Beach for a family reunion. It was fun seeing some of my cousins there and being at the beach. Some exciting moments of the week were: seeing a sea turtles nest hatch, seeing an alligator in the ocean, and having to evacuate our hotel. It was a really fun week being with a lot of our family! On our drive home from the beach, we stopped by at our cousins house. We wanted to stop by their house to see them and it was Jarret's 1st birthday while we were there. We stayed for less than a day though, since we were ready to get home. We drove back on Sunday afternoon and finally made it home.
These few weeks I have before we go to Utah have been laid back but I have done a lot of fun stuff! Like making these amazing breadsticks, going to the pool, and hanging out with friends. 
In less than a week we leave for Utah for a family vacation, to visit family, and to bring Emilee out to BYU. I am going to miss her so much and can't wait to visit her.
